While on the vacation you wish to book, navigate to the vacation’s “Available Dates” tab to select your desired travel dates and enter your contact details.


Visit or contact your local travel agent

Travel agents know the ins and outs of travel, including train travel! Ask your favorite travel agent how you can book an Amtrak Vacations vacation with them.

With Amtrak Vacations, most of our trips can be booked up to 24 months in advance.  You can also request a quote to get pricing and availability for any destination or vacation, whether you want to book a trip as-is or with a custom starting point near your local Amtrak station. Can I take a specific rail vacation that you offer in reverse order?

Yes! On most of our vacations, we also offer a reverse version. Please call and speak with one of our Rail Vacation Specialists for reverse options.

When will I receive my travel documents?

After we receive full payment, travel documents will be emailed to you between 21-14 days before travel. If you booked within 30 days of travel, please keep in mind you will receive your documentation...
