Ready for the journey of a lifetime? Then, this trip starting in Chicago that heads to the Grand Canyon and then on to the Red Rocks of Sedona is perfect for you! Your scenic expedition begins in the Windy City with a multi-day hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour. Visit the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, and many other popular Chicago destinations. Next, you'll board the Southwest Chief® for a picturesque train ride to the lovely city of Santa Fe. Explore its art, culture, history, cuisine, and serene mountain views. Then, you'll head to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon, where you will explore its majestic South Rim. Your final destination is Flagstaff, where you will be treated to an all-day jeep tour of Sedona.

DAY 1 - CHICAGO
Welcome to Chicago! Today, your journey begins with a multi-day hop-on, hop-off sightseeing pass, which gives you transportation to the most famous Chicago attractions. This tour covers 13 miles and includes stops at the Art Institute, the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and many more popular Chicago destinations. Feel free to hop on and off at any stop to further explore the area at your leisure. (Overnight in Chicago)

DAY 2 - CHICAGO
Enjoy the second day of your hop-on, hop-off city tour of Chicago and explore any sites you didn't get a chance to see yesterday. This enjoyable day of sightseeing will be followed by an included dinner a popular Chicago restaurant. (Overnight in Chicago) D

DAY 3 - OVERNIGHT ON BOARD AMTRAK
Travel on your own to the Amtrak station and board the Southwest Chief® to Santa Fe. This gorgeous train ride takes you through curving canyon passages only a few feet wider than the train itself! You'll see spectacular landscapes and pristine vistas not visible from any highway. (Overnight on board the train)

DAY 4 - SANTA FE
After your arrival in Santa Fe in the afternoon, take some time to get know this cultural gem of a city. Santa Fe is known as a treasure for art, culture, and cuisine. It also offers spectacular views of serene mountains. Enjoy a free day exploring all that Santa Fe has to offer. (Overnight in Santa Fe)

DAY 5 - SANTA FE
Today you will enjoy a guided walking tour of Santa Fe. This colorful and historic town is nestled in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Founded over 400 years ago by the Spaniards and inhabited by the Pueblo Indians for over 1000 years before that, this unique destination is so culturally diverse and interesting that travelers from all over the world come to visit. (Overnight in Santa Fe)

DAY 6 - SANTA FE TO WILLIAMS
You will be transferred from downtown Santa Fe back to the Amtrak station where you will board the train to Williams Junction. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to Williams, AZ, where you will enjoy a good night's sleep before your adventure to the Grand Canyon tomorrow. (Overnight in Williams)

DAY 7 - GRAND CANYON
This morning, dine and enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Grand Depot Café, the perfect starting place for your Grand Canyon adventure! Then, board the Grand Canyon Railway, which will take you right into the heart of Grand Canyon National Park. Enjoy a motorcoach tour of the Canyon's majestic South and take in some of the most spectacular vistas in North America, which were formed over 17 million years ago. DAY 8 - GRAND CANYON TO FLAGSTAFF

Today you'll have some time in the morning to take in the fresh mountain air as you spend free time enjoying the sights of the Canyon. You'll depart later this morning and head to Flagstaff for a good night's sleep. (Overnight in Flagstaff)

DAY 9 - DAY TRIP TO SEDONA
Get ready to explore the spectacular Red Rocks of Sedona with your included Canyons & Cowboys jeep tour. Take the rest of the day to explore the astounding natural wonders of Flagstaff on your own. This gorgeous city offers many invigorating outdoor recreation activities and fascinating cultural attractions. If you are looking for something to do later in the evening, the Lowell observatory perfect for stargazers. (Overnight in Flagstaff)

Bright Angel Lodge

Bright Angel Lodge, designed in 1935, has a natural, rustic character, and is a Registered National Historic Landmark. Designed by famed architect Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter (Mary E. J. Colter), it has always been a popular place to stay and the center of South Rim activity. Located just a few feet from the Canyon rim, Bright Angel Lodge is the check-in point for the world famous Grand Canyon Mule Rides.

El Tovar

El Tovar Hotel, the premier lodging facility at the Grand Canyon, opened its doors in 1905 and was most recently renovated in 2005. In the past, the Hotel has hosted such luminaries as Theodore Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, Western author Zane Grey, and many others. Today, El Tovar retains its elegant charm. Located on the Canyon rim, it features a fine dining room (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), lounge and curio shop with newsstand.

Grand Canyon Railway

Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is nestled amongst the Ponderosa pine forest in Williams, Arizona - "Gateway to the Grand Canyon." Owned and operated by Grand Canyon Railway, this hotel is one of the finest in the Grand Canyon -Flagstaff - Williams area.

Kachina Lodge

Located directly on the rim of the Grand Canyon, the Kachina Lodge is a great hotel for all guests visiting the South Rim.

Maswik Lodge

Maswik Lodge is a modern facility spread over several acres of ponderosa pine forest, located just 1/4 mile from the Canyon's edge. Maswik Lodge features a cafeteria that is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Here you will also find a sports bar with a wide screen TV, a curio shop stocked with handicrafts and gifts, and a transportation/activities desk.

Thunderbird Lodge

Conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge, Thunderbird is a contemporary lodge located at the South Rim.

Yavapai Lodge

Yavapai Lodge is Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' largest facility and is surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodlands, about 1/2 mile from the rim. With modern rooms and many services within a few steps, this is a convenient choice for families. Yavapai East rooms feature in-room air conditioning and Yavapai West rooms have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office.
