DAY 1             YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN NEW YORK CITY
Today you will enjoy the best of what New York City has to offer with an included CityPASS. Use the CityPASS to visit iconic sights such as the Empire State Building Observatory, Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center, the American Museum of Natural History, the Statue of Livery and Ellis Island, and so much more! DAY 2             NEW YORK CITY
Ready to experience more of the Big Apple? During your included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour, you'll get to do just that! See bustling Times Square, stroll through Central Park, and visit all the other landmarks and attractions that make New York City so alluring. (Overnight in New York City)

DAY 3             OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
Today, you'll travel to the train station on your own and board the Lake Shore Limited to Chicago! The train travels along picturesque shorelines, including that of Lake Michigan and the Erie Canal. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 4             CHICAGO
Chicago is one of North America's largest cities, jam packed with delicious food, stunning architecture, history and art. Use you included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour and Chicago CityPass to start exploring! Visit the Shedd Aquarium, Millennium Park, the Old Water Tower, SkyDeck Chicago, the Adler Planetarium, Buckingham Fountain, Palmer House Hilton, and so much more! (Overnight in Chicago)

DAY 5             CHICAGO
Continue using your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour to discover anything you didn't get a chance to see yesterday! Then, explore on your own. There's the Chicago Cultural Center, Harold Washington Library, or Promontory Point at Burnham Park. Oh, and don't forget about that famous deep-dish pizza! (Overnight in Chicago)

DAY 6             OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
Depart Chicago's Union Station onboard the Southwest Chief today for an overnight rail journey to Williams, Arizona. You'll travel through fields of gold, prairies, farmland, cross the mighty Mississippi, and traverse mountains, deserts and canyon passages. The great American West is sure to captivate you on this train journey! (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 7             WILLIAMS, AZ
Known as the gateway to the Grand Canyon, the quaint mountain town of Williams is home to Americana-style restaurants and shops dating back to the 1900s. It's also located along the world-famous Route 66 and nestled beneath a canopy of the beautiful Ponderosa Pines of Kaibab Forest. (Overnight in Williams)

DAY 8             GRAND CANYON
After having breakfast at the Grand Depot Café, board the Grand Canyon Railway from Williams to the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. During your Grand Canyon Freedom Rim Tour, you'll discover why the South Rim has been hosting visitors since the 1850's. It's awe-inspiring. Except, back then, the trip here meant surviving a bone-jarring stagecoach ride that took anywhere from one to two days! With close to two dozen expansive, breath-taking viewpoints, the South Rim will provoke childlike wonder and a sense that the world is so much more magnificent and grand than you imagined. DAY 9             GRAND CANYON
Use your free day to see any sights and capture memories that you didn't get a chance to yesterday. At the South Rim alone, there is plenty to see and do on your own! Watch the sunrise or sunset, visit the Yavapai Geology Museum or Desert View Watchtower, make reservations to have dinner at a historic lodge, or simply relax. DAY 10           OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
Take the Grand Canyon Railway train from South Rim back to Williams. In the evening, enjoy your included dinner at the Grand Depot Café before boarding Amtrak's Southwest Chief to Los Angeles. (Overnight onboard Amtrak) D

DAY 11           LOS ANGELES
Welcome to exciting Los Angeles! After checking into your hotel and getting settled, enjoy your included tour of famous movie stars' homes and a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour. Visit Beverly Hills, Mullholland Drive, the Sunset Strip, Rodeo Drive and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. During your outing, see the homes of Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Quentin Tarantino, and more. DAY 12           LOS ANGELES
Continue using your hop-on, hop-off sightseeing city tour to explore any attractions or landmarks you didn't see yesterday. Bright Angel Lodge

Bright Angel Lodge, designed in 1935, has a natural, rustic character, and is a Registered National Historic Landmark. Designed by famed architect Mary Elizabeth Jane Colter (Mary E. J. Located just a few feet from the Canyon rim, Bright Angel Lodge is the check-in point for the world famous Grand Canyon Mule Rides.

El Tovar

El Tovar Hotel, the premier lodging facility at the Grand Canyon, opened its doors in 1905 and was most recently renovated in 2005. In the past, the Hotel has hosted such luminaries as Theodore Roosevelt, Albert Einstein, Western author Zane Grey, and many others. Today, El Tovar retains its elegant charm. Located on the Canyon rim, it features a fine dining room (open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), lounge and curio shop with newsstand.

Located directly on the rim of the Grand Canyon, the Kachina Lodge is a great hotel for all guests visiting the South Rim.

Maswik Lodge

Maswik Lodge is a modern facility spread over several acres of ponderosa pine forest, located just 1/4 mile from the Canyon's edge. Maswik Lodge features a cafeteria that is open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Here you will also find a sports bar with a wide screen TV, a curio shop stocked with handicrafts and gifts, and a transportation/activities desk.

Thunderbird Lodge

Conveniently located between El Tovar and Bright Angel Lodge, Thunderbird is a contemporary lodge located at the South Rim.

Yavapai Lodge

Yavapai Lodge is Grand Canyon National Park Lodges' largest facility and is surrounded by pinyon and juniper woodlands, about 1/2 mile from the rim. With modern rooms and many services within a few steps, this is a convenient choice for families. Yavapai East rooms feature in-room air conditioning and Yavapai West rooms have vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office.
