Discover the great city of Seattle as well as the gorgeous scenery and breathtaking landscapes of the snow-covered Canadian Rockies on this scenic rail journey! First, spend a night in Seattle, then explore the best of Vancouver and see amazing views of the city from hundreds of feet above the ground at the Vancouver Lookout. As you travel through the Canadian Rockies by rail, you’ll pass through places cars can’t go. View wildlife in their natural habitat in Jasper National Park. Journey to Banff in the heart of the Rockies and ride the gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for amazing views of the winter wonderland that is the Canadian Rockies!

DAY 1 YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN SEATTLE
Welcome to the great city of Seattle! Upon arrival, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay and begin discovering the ‘Emerald City.' Check out the iconic Space Needle for 360-degree views of the entire city, picturesque Elliott Bay and the snow-capped Mt. Rainier in the distance. Explore other not to be missed attractions, including the Seattle Aquarium, Pike Place Market, the Great Wheel and much more. (Overnight in Seattle)

DAY 2 SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER
Board Amtrak's Cascades train for the scenic and relaxing four-hour journey to Vancouver. Upon arrival in the city, travel on your own to your hotel and check in for a two-night stay. Begin exploring this unique city where the serene coast meets the soaring mountains. (Overnight in Vancouver)

DAY 3 VANCOUVER
A full day of sightseeing awaits you today! With an included hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tour, you'll learn all about the city and its history with the live commentary. Feel free to hop off the tour and explore any sites in depth at your leisure such as Stanley Park, Chinatown, Gastown, Granville Island, and more! Make sure to use your included admission to the Vancouver Lookout. (Overnight in Vancouver)

DAY 4 VANCOUVER TO JASPER
Today, you'll board VIA Rail and after you settle in, head to the observation car for breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies. (Overnight onboard VIA Rail)

DAY 5 JASPER
Open your bedroom blinds to find the towering Rocky Mountains outside your window. Take in Mt. Robson, the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies and Moose Lake, one of its deepest, before a morning arrival into Jasper. When you arrive in Jasper, travel on your own to your hotel. (Overnight in Jasper)

DAY 6 JASPER
Explore the spectacular Jasper National Park, the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies, and search for winter wildlife on your guided tour today. Your local guides know all the best places to spot wildlife and you are likely to see elk, deer, goats, moose and more! (Overnight in Jasper)

DAY 7 JASPER TO BANFF
This morning, depart Jasper for a scenic drive on the Icefields Parkway to Banff, one of the most beautiful towns in the Canadian Rockies. (Overnight in Banff)

DAY 8 BANFF
Today, you'll take a gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for one of the best views of the Canadian Rockies. From there, you can enjoy the snowy mountain vistas from six different mountain ranges, Bow Valley and more! It's the perfect ending to your Canadian Rockies Winter exploration. (Overnight in Banff)

DAY 9 YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN CALGARY
Check out of your hotel today and transfer from Banff to Calgary to continue your travels.
