DAY 1 ARRIVE CHICAGO
Welcome to Chicago! After getting settled, spend some free time exploring all this amazing city has to offer. Take a walk down the Magnificent Mile for world class shopping, dining, and attractions. Head to the architectural wonder Millennium Park. Stop by Navy Pier for tasty food and great views of Chicago. “The Windy City” is truly one of a kind! (Overnight in Chicago)

DAY 2 CHICAGO
Enjoy a tour around the city today. Experienced and entertaining tour guides will recount the dramatic story of Chicago's rise from the Great Fire of 1871 and how the Windy City became the home of the skyscraper and the cradle of modern American architecture. Hop off at any number of popular locations to explore them further and at your own pace. Enjoy your included dinner this evening at a popular Chicago restaurant. (Overnight in Chicago) D

DAY 3 OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
Today, you will travel to Chicago's Union Station and board the Empire Builder. Traveling daily between Chicago and the Pacific Northwest along major portions of the Lewis and Clark trail, the mighty Empire Builder takes you on an exciting adventure through majestic wilderness, following the footsteps of early pioneers. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 4 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Welcome to Glacier National Park, home to two different mountain ranges, 130 lakes, 1,000 species of plants, and 16,000 square miles of protected land. Enjoy the mountain air during your short walk to the iconic Glacier Park Lodge, where you can settle in for a good night's rest. (Overnight in Glacier National Park)

DAY 5 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Today, you'll explore the serene sights of Glacier National Park on a scenic boat cruise of Two Medicine Valley. Enjoy a relaxing cruise while listening to the Blackfoot Indian folklore surrounding this gorgeous area. The Two Medicine Valley boat cruise will take your breath away! (Overnight in Glacier National Park)

DAY 6 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Today, you will continue exploring Glacier National Park on the Big Sky Circle Tour. Drive over the breathtaking Maria's Pass. Enjoy the local wildlife at Goat Lick. Venture along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, a windy-mountain thoroughfare that spans 50 miles through the park. After your tour, you'll return to Glacier Park Lodge for your final night's stay. (Overnight in Glacier National Park)

DAY 7 OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
Enjoy a relaxing morning at the Glacier Park Lodge before transferring on your own to the East Glacier Station and boarding Amtrak to Seattle. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 8 SEATTLE
Welcome to Seattle! Get to know the “Emerald City” and see famous landmarks, including Pike Place Market, one of the oldest farmers' markets, Seattle's Great Wheel, and many more popular destinations. (Overnight in Seattle)

DAY 9 SEATTLE 
Today, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Seattle and visit Pioneer Square, Seattle's waterfront, Lake Union and more!  Today, also includes admission to the Space Needle Observation Deck and Chihuly Garden and Glass museum. The Space Needle is the most iconic structure in the city and from the 520-foot high observation deck, you'll get stunning views of Mt. Rainier, the lights of downtown Seattle, and Elliott Bay. (Overnight in Seattle)

DAY 10 OVERNIGHT ONBOARD AMTRAK
This morning you will board the train and journey south to California. The Coast Starlight route travels through some great countryside with gorges and rivers and expansive pine forest. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 11 SAN FRANCISCO
You arrive in the morning to San Francisco. Drop off your bags and you are free to begin exploring right away! Your included hop-on, hop-off pass is a great way to visit the many popular and interesting areas of the city such as Golden Gate Park and Union Square. Any time you want to explore a spot further, get off the tour and rejoin it later when you've had your fill. (Overnight in San Francisco)

DAY 12 SAN FRANCISCO
There's so much to see and do in San Francisco. Continue to use your hop-on, hop-off pass to not only get to and from the attractions easily, but also to ride along with a tour guide giving an excellent, narrated journey through town. After exploring the city fully today, wrap up your journey across America with an included dinner by the water at Fisherman's Wharf. (Overnight in San Francisco) D
