Enjoy a wonderful family adventure with Glacier National Park! Boarding in Chicago, you will take the famous Empire Builder on a trip through the top of the country and into majestic Glacier Park. Your family will be truly amazed at the beautiful sights of Glacier as you tour the park aboard the iconic red Jammer buses as you make your way over the Going-to-the-Sun Road, around Logan’s Pass, and through St. Mary’s Valley. Your trip will be full of stunning views and exciting adventures, in Glacier Park.

DAY 1 DEPART CHICAGO
Welcome aboard Amtrak's Empire Builder! Tonight you will enjoy a leisurely ride on Amtrak as you head west to Glacier National Park. Enjoy views of the North Dakota plains as you make your way into Big Sky country. (Overnight onboard Amtrak)

DAY 2 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Wake up aboard the Empire Builder and prepare for a wonderful three night stay in Montana's Glacier National Park. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and have a free evening to yourself. (Overnight in Glacier National Park)

DAY 3 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Today you will board Glacier National Park's famous red jammer bus for your all-encompassing Big Sky Circle Tour! The all-inclusive tour will take you throughout the park to see the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road on Logan Pass, wind through the hemlock and cedar forests, and down through the St. Mary Valley. This fully guided tour is sure to excite and inspire as you get the full experience of Glacier National Park. (Overnight in Glacier National Park) B

DAY 4 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK
Wake up and have a free day on your own in Glacier Park. Perhaps you want to relax by the pool, take one of the free ranger-led hikes, or enjoy a round of golf. With so much do to in Glacier National Park, the options are in your hands! (Overnight in Glacier National Park) B

DAY 5 OVERNIGHT ONBOARD THE EMPIRE BUILDER
Today you will board the Empire Builder for your trip back to Chicago. Sit back, relax, and relive your wonderful national park experience as the train makes its way East over the Gassman Coulee Trestle. (Overnight aboard Amtrak) B

DAY 6 YOUR FAMILY ADVENTURE ENDS IN CHICAGO

Glacier Park Lodge

Glacier Park Lodge was built almost a century ago by the Great Northern Railway. Located in East Glacier Park Village it is 3 miles outside of Glacier National Park. The Glacier Park Lodge's 161 guest rooms can accommodate over 500 people.
