An unforgettable display of Colorado's rich trove of natural treasures. Heading west, you will depart the city, traversing the foothills that lead you leisurely into the preserved wilderness of the splendid foothills.
Our first stop is Red Rocks Park, a millennia-old geological creation named after its red sandstone monoliths. Here you will have time to stroll, take photos and enjoy refreshments.
You will then journey up Bear Creek Canyon, tranquil home to mountain communities, small and large wildlife, such as elk, deer and the Great American Bison or buffalo. (Keep your cameras ready!)
Homeward you'll visit the Buffalo Bill Cody gravesite and museum at Lookout Mountain above Denver. In Golden you'll drive past the home of Coors Beer.
