Let Gray Line Washington, D.C. show you everything you need to see in the city. Explore the city like a V.I.P. with certified, licensed, knowledgeable hometown guides in a luxury motor coach. Your guide will regale you with stories of the fascinating history and politics of D.C. as you visit every monument you could possibly think of to see.
The World War II Memorial and its beautiful water and fountain displays, and of course—1600 Pennsylvania itself. The White House Visitor Center is decorated in the same décor as the White House, so you can take a moment and feel what it’s like to be the PUSA! You’ll tour the U.S. Capitol Building and learn about the ins and outs of a government official’s job at the Visitors Center.
Visit the Smithsonian complex, home to priceless artifacts encompassing American and world history for centuries—you can spend hours getting yourself lost in the incredible exhibits, and you should! You’ll also visit Mount Vernon, George Washington’s home, where you’ll learn about colonial life, the American Revolution, and wander the green lawns and gardens of Washington’s estate overlooking the Potomac. Arlington National Cemetery is another can’t-miss sight, especially the Changing of the Guard and your tram ride through the cemetery and to JFK’s grave. All of these places and many, many more including the Lincoln, Women’s, Vietnam and many other Memorials on the National Mall will be at your fingertips for two whole days!
This tour runs seven days a week. On Monday-Saturday, instead of the Smithsonian Museums stop, the tour will make stops at the Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean and Iwo Jima Memorials. On Sunday, the tour will not stop at the U.S. Capitol Building (which is closed) and instead will stop at the Smithsonian Museums. The tour will also include a view of the Americans Disabled for Life Memorial.
