Since opening its doors in 1974, Fort Edmonton Park has offered Edmontonians and visitors from around the world a looking glass into our past and provided passage to a richer appreciation of the lives of our forefathers.
Start with riding the 1919 steam train to the Hudson’s Bay fort. Enjoy the Fur Trade tales and eat fresh Bannock at the Cree encampment every day at 11:30AM. Hop on an authentic stagecoach ride or try our 1885 Bakery (one of our many hidden gems). Talk with the friendly costumed interpreters in the Park’s over 70 authentic buildings, have your historical photo taken at Ernest Brown or stop by the Hotel Selkirk for a bite. Don’t miss the great ice cream at Bill’s Confectionery on 1920 Street, and finish off with a 1920's Midway ride.
Admission prices are all inclusive for all rides and games in the Park, including all period transportation, the Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Fun House, Chair-O-Plane, Tom Thumb Mini-Golf, Shooting Gallery and the 4-D Northern Light show at the Capitol Theatre.
