La Malbaie was one of the first vacation resorts in Canada and remains just as popular today. Located at the end of Highway 362, also know as the River Route, La Malbaie continues to welcome tourists to the Charlevoix region. Visitors can board Le Massif Train in Quebec City for a scenic journey to La Malbaie. Once there visitors can stroll the Chemin des Falaises to view the stately villas that continue to stand. Guests can then try their luck at the Charlevoix Casino or unwind at the luxurious and stately Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. During the summer months La Malbaie offers hiking, kayaking, fishing, and splendid golfing opportunities. During the winter months hit the slopes and enjoy the snow.
