DAY 1 Arrive in Seattle
Welcome to Seattle! Transfer independently to your downtown hotel. This evening you may wish to explore Seattle’s waterfront. (Overnight in Seattle)
DAY 2 Seattle Exploring
Today you will take a city tour then have the afternoon to explore the busy Pike Place market or the Seattle Aquarium. This evening enjoy dinner at the Seattle Space Needle in the SkyCtiy Restaurant (Overnight in Seattle)
DAY 3 Seattle to San Francisco
Amtrak® departs Seattle mid-morning bound for California. En route, the scenery creates a gorgeous backdrop, snow covered mountains, dense forests, fertile valleys and long stretches of Pacific Ocean shoreline. As Amtrak crosses from Oregon to California, you will be lulled to sleep in your Amtrak accommodations.
DAY 4 Arrive in San Francisco
Amtrak® arrives in Emeryville at approximately 8:30 a.m.Transfer by motorcoach into downtown San Francisco. “The City by the Bay” has consistently been rated as one of the world’s top travel destinations. San Francisco has everything for everyone! Enjoy the day at leisure, using your CityPass to visit six of the city’s best attractions.

DAY 5 Explore San Francisco
This morning, you will take a deluxe sightseeing tour of the city. Highlights include: the Opera House, Old Mission Dolores, the Japanese Tea Garden, San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz. The tour ends with a one-hour narrated cruise aboard the Blue & Gold Fleet on the San Francisco Bay. This evening, relax and enjoy dinner at Neptune’s Restaurant. (Overnight in San Francisco)
DAY 6 Napa Valley Exploring
Today you will enjoy a leisurely narrated tour through the wine regions of Sonoma and Napa Valley stopping at a few of the wineries for tours and tastings. (Overnight in San Francisco)
DAY 7 San Francisco to Los Angeles
Early morning you will transfer back to the Amtrak station in Oakland for the day journey to Los Angeles.The journey takes you South through San Jose and Santa Barbara. Arrive at approximately 9:00 p.m. and transfer independently to your hotel. (Overnight in Los Angeles)
DAY 8 Explore Los Angeles
Take a guided tour of Los Angeles and Hollywood today. So many sights to see, and of course be certain to keep your eyes open for celebrity sightings! (Overnight in Los Angeles)
DAY 9 Explore Universal Studios
