DAYS 1–2 YOUR ESCORTED JOURNEY BEGINS IN DENVER

Welcome to Denver! This evening, enjoy dinner on your own before or after a wine and cheese welcome reception in Denver. On Day 2, enjoy breakfast at the hotel before the tour of this vibrant city begins. After a full day of exploring, enjoy dinner at a popular restaurant in Denver this evening. DAY 3 DENVER TO SALT LAKE CITY

After breakfast, we will board Amtrak® to Salt Lake City.  Sit back and relax as we travel along one of the most scenic routes in North America. (Overnight in Salt Lake City) B, L, D

DAYS 4–5 SALT LAKE CITY TO YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

After a good night’s sleep in Salt Lake City, we will travel to Yellowstone National Park via the West Entrance and stay in the north side of the park. On Day 5, a tour of Yellowstone’s upper loop is included. Have your camera ready as plenty of photo opportunities will present themselves today. (Overnight in Yellowstone) 2B, 2L, 2D

DAYS 6–7 YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

On Day 6, wake up bright and early for a trip to Lamar Valley for wildlife viewing. A stagecoach ride with boxed lunch also highlights this day. On Day 7, we will visit the Old Faithful area of Yellowstone and see an eruption of Old Faithful along with the many other geothermal features. (Overnight at Yellowstone) 2B, L, 2D

DAY 8 YELLOWSTONE TO GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK

Today we will take a short ride to bordering Grand Teton National Park to see the majestic Tetons that tower over Jackson Lake and the Snake River. A tour and boat cruise highlight this day. (Overnight in Grand Teton) B, D

DAY 9 GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK

Today, enjoy a free day to do one of many optional excursions like the Snake River Float trip or relax by the pool and enjoy the incredible views.  Use this day to reenergize for the final days.  In the late afternoon, we will take a ride to Jackson Hole to spend some time shopping and checking out the sights. (Overnight in Grand Teton) B, D

DAY 10 OVERNIGHT ABOARD AMTRAK®

After breakfast, we will take a scenic ride back to Salt Lake City. Lunch will be provided in the Dining car. Upon arrival in Salt Lake City; each party will have their own day room to rest in prior to the train’s departure around midnight. Dinner will be on your own for this evening. DAYS 11–12 SAN FRANCISCO

Wake up onboard the train and enjoy breakfast and lunch as we roll into San Francisco. After arrival, we will transfer to our San Francisco hotel. On Day 12, we will tour the “City by the Bay”. After our day tour, you will have some free time to explore the city or relax before our finale dinner. (Overnight in San Francisco) 2B, L, D

DAY 13 YOUR ESCORTED JOURNEY ENDS IN SAN FRANCISCO

Before your journey comes to an end, enjoy breakfast. At this time, you can continue on to Napa Valley, south to Yosemite National Park or further north to Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria, B.C.  B
