DAY 1             YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS IN CHICAGO

Welcome to Chicago! In your free time today, take a walk down the Magnificent Mile for world-class shopping, dining and attractions or take in a Broadway show.  (Overnight in Chicago)

 

DAY 2             CHICAGO

Enjoy a sightseeing architectural cruise of Chicago harbor where your guide will recount the dramatic story of Chicago's rise from the Great Fire of 1871 to become the home of the skyscraper and the cradle of modern American architecture. Enjoy your included dinner this evening at a popular Chicago restaurant.  (Overnight in Chicago) D

 

DAY 3             CHICAGO TO ST. PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS

Transfer on your own and board Amtrak® for the Twin Cities.  Your transfer by taxi to the Country Inn & Suites at the Mall of America is included.  (Overnight in Minneapolis)

 

DAY 4             OVERNIGHT ABOARD AMTRAK®

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast, before a full-day tour of the Twin Cities.  After your city tour, transfer on your own and board Amtrak® to Glacier National Park. Relax in your private Roomette sleeping accommodations. (Overnight on the train) B

 

DAY 5             GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

Welcome to Glacier National Park! Enjoy the mountain air during your short walk to Glacier Park Lodge where you can settle in for a good night’s rest. (Overnight in Glacier National Park)

 

DAY 6             GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

Today, enjoy the sights of Glacier National Park with your included International Peace Park Tour.  From mid-July through mid-September, in your free time, you may also cross the U.S./Canada border to Waterton Lake to the Prince of Wales Hotel and enjoy afternoon tea.

DAY 7             GLACIER NATIONAL PARK

Today, you will continue touring Glacier National Park before returning to the Glacier Park Lodge for your final night’s stay in the park.

DAY 8             OVERNIGHT ABOARD AMTRAK®

Enjoy your final day relaxing at the Glacier Park Lodge before transferring on your own and boarding Amtrak® to Seattle.  This evening, enjoy dinner in the Dining car then settle in for a good night’s sleep in your private Roommette sleeping accommodations.  (Overnight on the train) D

 

DAY 9             SEATTLE

Seattle offers both a thriving urban center and a healthy natural environment.  Today enjoy your 2-day hop-on / hop-off tour of this great city. (Overnight in Seattle)

 

DAY 10            SEATTLE

Continue your hop-on / hop-off tour of Seattle which includes a boat cruise of Seattle Harbor. This tour will stop at many of Seattle's most-visited sights. Enjoy your included dinner this evening at a popular Seattle restaurant. (Overnight in Seattle) D

 

DAY 11            YOUR JOURNEY ENDS IN SEATTLE

Seating Accommodations

The availability of these options varies depending on your route and the kind of train equipment in use.

Coach Class

Coach class seats are available on all Amtrak trains except Acela Express trains.

On most long-distance trains, we provide extra-spacious Coach Class seating with leg rests designed to enhance your comfort for long or overnight trips.
